Improving your Badminton

Our aim at Gosport Borough Badminton club is to increase participation in badminton and improve the standard of play. We intend to achieve this by making it easy to get involved in badminton and easy to pick up the knowledge and connections to progress your badminton.

Our Starter night session at Brune Park school is designed to get people participating, whether it’s for the first time or if you just have not played for a while. Gentle guidance will be given to enable a steady improvement.

Our main club night is on a Wednesday night at Brune park school. The main club night is aimed at players that play regular club standard badminton. 

When you’re ready to start taking on other clubs we compete in local Badminton leagues.

If you like it simple a group of us play singles on a Tuesday evening. 

We are interested in forming a  junior badminton club. Both Kevin and Meen are registered Level 2 badminton coaches. If you’re interested in your child learning badminton please let us know.

Whether that means learning the rules or tidying up your technique we are here to help.

I run Gosport Badminton club with Meen. I have been playing, coaching, and competing in local badminton leagues for many years now. I enjoy all three. I find playing in our club to be a good way to keep fit and engage in competition. I have coached badminton for all ages from 7 to 70. I aim to transform players from casual participants into competitive league players.

I started playing at Gosport No Strings, I really enjoyed playing badminton and decided to improve as much as I can. In my quest to get better I have Qualified as a badminton coach both with Badminton England and in Thailand.
